Dancor Acoustics has been selected by Sir Robert McAlpine to deliver a second successive project on the Isle of Wight, installing £500,000 of steel framing and associated works.
We are working on new buildings for Christ the King College secondary school that will include a new two-storey accommodation block with flexible layout and adaptable spaces, and new sports facilities and external spaces for 1,350 young people in the town of Newport.
Dancor Acoustics will be installing Metsec SFS and Fire Casing for the project, as part of the Island’s Priority School Building Programme, which has also been responsible for our work at other sites including Ryde Academy and Oakfield Primary School.
Dominic Goodale, Managing Director, Dancor Group, comments: “Our teams have proven many times over how it is possible to overcome the challenges of working on the Island, and we are delighted that Sir Robert McAlpine have again recognised our specialism for working in live, educational environments. We’re proud to say that tens of thousands of pupils across the UK are now learning in environments created by the Dancor Group team.”
