Dancor Acoustics is starting a new £350,000 project working with specialist main contractor Stepnell this March in Surrey.
We are creating a new 34-bed care home in Horsell, near Woking, installing drylining, partitioning and suspended ceilings to create individual one-and-two bedroom apartments over four storeys, with shared lounge and social kitchen spaces for client Pegasus Life.
Dominic Goodale, Managing Director, Dancor Group, adds: “Residential retirement accommodation in the UK is in short supply, and Dancor Group has been regularly been involved in the construction of new-build properties throughout the UK. Our teams are looking forward to working again with Stepnell Construction, who share our values for delivering on-time and to budget in the safest possible manner.”
The building has been designed in a horse-shoe shape, and in a Victorian style to match the surrounding buildings. The area is infamous for being referred to in H.G. Well’s book, The War of the Worlds, which describe’s future residents views of Horsell Common’s sandpits.
