Dancor Group is transforming fitness facilities at a prep school in Sussex for our latest contract win with main contractor Kier Southern.
We are creating a new-build sports facility at Windlesham Preparatory School in Pulborough, as part of their new sports and swimming building, incorporating a 25m 6 lane swimming pool and 4 indoor playing courts with supporting rooms.
Dancor Acoustics has started onsite constructing partitioning, drylining and suspended ceilings in the new 7.5m high court area, with viewing areas for spectators watching basketball, hockey, tennis and badminton. We are additionally creating male and female changing rooms, boot rooms and storage areas for the project.
Dominic Goodale, Managing Director, Dancor Group, comments: “Facilities like these have the potential to help mould the gold-medal winning athletes of the future, and we are delighted to again by working with Kier Southern on a high-profile educational project. With three other school and university projects live at the moment, we are recognised for our work in this sector.”
Designed by Neil Holland Architects, the 3-phase 4-year project works include road upgrades, new parking facilities, landscaping, green roof, biomass boiler and PV panels in order to meet the school’s green credentials.
